Camp Doughboy
Camp Doughboy 2017, Governors Island, produced by the WWI Centennial Committee For New York City.

The World War I Centennial Committee for New York City is dedicated to increasing public awareness and understanding of the First World War, with a special focus on New York City’s wartime experiences and the impact of the war on all New Yorkers, then and now.

Most Americans have only a vague idea about the Great War that changed the world and defined modern America.  Our committee’s goal is to increase the public’s awareness of the central role New York City played in America’s war effort and beyond.

We invite you to explore upcoming events, and news from the committee.
